There are all sorts of tools that can help you run a small business. And what is valuable varies person by person.  

There are bunches of companies that try to create all-in-one software solutions for different types of businesses. And sometimes these can seem really appealing, but I often find that the best tool for any job is usually a collection of tools.

Over time you are going to pull together your own personal tech stack, but hopefully this will give you a good head start.

All of the tools I’m going to feature can be used for free. They all have premium versions, but with possibly the exception of Zoom, I suggest starting with just the free plans. As time goes on you can decide where it makes sense to buy premium.
